Here is my Member’s statement. At Estimates Committee, I learned that home care agencies are not requiring increased wages for personal support workers. The Auditor General has warned that we need and additional 5,000 personal care workers in the next 5 years.
This is a senior’s issue that absolutely must be address with a sense of urgency it deserves.
