Select Committee on Climate Change – The Process
David Coon, Leader of the Green Party of New Brunswick and MLA for Fredericton South is a member of the Select Committee on Climate Change. The committee has been tasked with developing a stronger New Brunswick response to climate change. The committee is to report back to the legislature with recommendations to reduce greenhouse gas emissions with continued economic growth and increase the resilience of New Brunswick to climate change through adaptation. The recommendations will be ready in time for the 1st Minister’s Conference on Climate Change in October.
